We're running regular trainings throughout November for anyone who is interested in helping the Greens this election.
The Greens are on track to win more seats than ever before and record our best ever result in a State Election, but to get over the line we need thousands of volunteers involved all across Victoria during the voting period.
If you're keen to help for early voting (pre-poll) or polling day, but you aren't sure what that entails - this is for you!
Throughout November we will be regular running training sessions for all polling booth volunteers. Join a local or online training on any of these days by signing up for the session that suits you best below
These practical sessions will run for approximately 75 minutes, and will convey information about:
- Your role at the polling booth
- Logistics info
- VEC rules and regulations
- Our key talking points to help you answer voters’ questions about our local candidates at the booth
What you can expect to get at the sessions:
- Information about what volunteering on a booth entails, VEC rules, and logistics info
- Practical training for talking to voters about the Greens
- Opportunity to meet and connect with other booth volunteers
- If attending a training in person, we will provide dinner on the night!
Whether you’ve never done anything with the Greens before, or you've helped on heaps of campaigns in the past, these sessions are crucial to briefing you about representing the Greens, and making sure you have everything you need to have a great time!
New, returning, and experienced volunteers all welcome and encouraged to come along to find out how to best represent the Greens this election.
