The Greens are saddened to share the loss of our dear friend and Victorian Greens MP for Brunswick, Dr Tim Read.
Victorian Greens

We know that 1 in 5 people decide who they're voting for while they're in the line to vote. Which means that volunteering at a polling booth is most impactful thing you can do to help your local Greens candidate win!

We need thousands of volunteers at polling booths all across Victoria from when early voting opens on Wednesday 18th November, until Election Day on Saturday 28th November.

Sign up to help here!

Election Day is Sat 28 November.
Early Voting is from Wed 18 November - Fri 27 November (excluding Sun 22 Nov)

  • Last election we saw over 50% of all votes cast before election day during early voting (also called 'pre-poll'). This makes pre-poll the most important period for the campaign.

Any and all time you can commit to a booth for early voting (pre-poll) and election day makes a huge difference!

Roles on a polling booth include:

  • General volunteers: Hand out How-To-Vote (HTV) cards and be a friendly face to voters!

  • Booth captains: Set up and/or pack down the booth, confirm people's shifts & be the point person for the volunteers on that booth, and brief volunteers as they arrive.

  • Scrutineers (on election night): Overseeing the counting of the votes in specific places on election night (and potentially post-election if it's close in some seats!)

Trainings are available for ALL roles throughout November (online & in person) - no prior experience necessary.
