CAMPBELL GOME
Candidate for Northcote
Choose hope. Demand better.
You deserve someone who will take on the major parties on the cost of living, housing and climate action.
I’ve lived in Northcote for nearly 30 years, raising my family, teaching in our schools, and campaigning for social, environmental and climate justice.
I’m putting my hand up to represent you because, as a public school teacher, I feel a deep duty of care to future generations. You deserve a strong, progressive representative who puts community first.
The major parties work for their corporate donors. The Greens are fighting for you.
We’ll make ultra-rich corporations pay their fair share to fund the things we all need. Like free public transport, properly funded education, lower energy bills with real climate action, and a decent home for everyone.
As the most marginal seat in the state, all eyes are on us. On a wafer thin gap of 184 votes, we can turn Northcote green.
I acknowledge the Wurundjeri Woi Wurrung people of the Kulin nation and their continuing connection to land, waters and culture, and that their sovereignty over Country was never ceded. I pay my respects to their Elders past and present. The Greens commit to actively working with First Nations people in support of Treaty, justice and self-determination.
