Something scary is happening this Halloween: the major parties. Cost-of-living horror stories, haunted housing policies, and promises that vanish at midnight. Luckily, there’s a much less frightening way to spend your Saturday morning.

With the State Election coming up in November 2026, we’re chatting to our community to hear about what’s important to them.

Come along to hear about what the Greens are up to and our policies, get trained in how to have effective conversations, and have some chats with people in the community. Then join us at Harmony Park for the Halloween family fun day with the Greens and the United Firefighters Union.

No prior experience necessary. We’ll provide training and support if you’re new to canvassing! Feel free to invite family and friends along to knock with you. Dogs and kids always welcome too :)

What to expect on the day:

• 30 minutes: Meet, coffee, briefing and conversations training (9:30 to 10:00am)
• 2.5 hours: Head out to doorknock (10:00am to 12:30pm)
• Afterwards: Head to Harmony Park for the family fun day, with food, fun and costumes encouraged 🎃
